Texas Snowmagedon 2010

Winter in Texas is…..well they say ‘ don’t blink or you will miss the change.” Here is my tree

and three days later

They call it Snowmagedon, it was record breaking snowfall for North Texas. We got 12”…..might not seem much to some but for a place where we go years without a flake it was pretty amazing. We weren’t able to leave the house for a few days but the girls loved it.

Gizzy didn’t quite know what to make of the cold stuff,

however Jazzy loved it.

Spending a Few Days With Family

We are spending a few days with my in-laws and my brother in law. The girls are having a great time. They are being spoiled rotten =)





Every winter it's there family tradition to burn this candle, we now have the same tradition in our home.



It was nice to spend time with them....I miss DH though.

Ice at the Gaylord

I went with my in-laws and my brother in law to ICE at the Gaylord. We took the kids when they were younger but they seemed to have more fun at this age. Also don't we look smashing in our parkas?

As you can tell the slide was there favorite, being 6 months preggo I doubt it would be smart to try the slide myself so I enlisted there Uncle. Secretly think he enjoyed it too.

If look at there faces you cant tell the cold was really starting to get to us. It was 9 degrees.
