State Fair

Today we took the girls out of school early and we met some friends at the State Fair. We had a really good time. We saw so many interesting foods, Fried Snickers, Fried Margarita's, Fried Butter. See a theme here, DH was to chicken to try anything so we had to stick with hot-dogs, lemonade and funnel cake.
It wasn't there first time on a Ferris Wheel but it was the first time on one this big.

Look at Leah's face

We both got to take the girls on bumper cars, they thought running into one another was the super fun.

Logan really like the Dog Show he bounced up and down through the whole thing.

The girls with there friend D. We went through the petting zoo, surprisingly I enjoyed it.
That is no Wilbur folks =)
Loved the Do'

He tried to kiss me

Snowdrop wanted to ride her very first roller coaster. The first big hill scared her a tad, but then she loved the rest of it and asked us if she could go again. I'm happy that shes going to love them like I do, Dewdrop is more like her Daddy, not that excited about flying super fast downhill. I've tried to post the video of that and the ride on the Ferris Wheel but I'm having complications so maybe I'll be able to add them later.

5 Months Old

Rugglebug is five months old now. He is a really big baby though, we had to get him a new car seat because he outgrew the baby carrier. At his Doctors Appointment they said he weighs 19 lbs and 28 inches long. He also has TWO bottom teeth, and I think he's getting more because his teething has been constant lately.

He adores his big sisters.
This is what Rugglebug thinks of applesauce.

We took my parents out for dinner the other night. I don't think we have ever done that before with out the kids. My in-laws agreed to watch the kiddos so we could go out.

My father decided to stand behind my mother and fake flash us, just like him. I couldn't stop laughing.

First Day of School

Today was a big day, it was the girls first day of school. They started Kindergarten, they have been so excited. Every day for the last month they have asked us if it was time to start big kid school.

DH took off work so we could take them to school together. We walked them in and took them each to there own class. They are in separate classes, not only is it school policy but it was something other mom's of multiples have recommended to me. That way they get a break from each other during the day and when they get home they fight less. So far it has worked out well, when I pick them up everyday all they do on the way home is talk to one another about there day.

I always thought that things would be less busy when school started. HA was I wrong. Get up early take care of Ruggles, wake the girls, breakfast, do there hair. Then load the car, drop them off. The afternoons are just as busy. After school there homework, who knew there was this much homework in Kinder. I have to admit that sometimes its fun. Anyway after that it's dinner and make lunches and then baths and bed and putting the baby to bed. Ah yes see very relaxing. I don't really mind but I do feel like a grown up now. Isn't that odd =)

Here is a couple of pictures from there first day.
They were so proud of there new big girl backpacks.
Dewdrop should be a model I think, she is always posing. My little Snowdrop

4 Months Old Today

Our little Rugglebug is 4 months old today. He can hold his head up now when he’s on his tummy, and he won’t stop rolling over. He has also been teething like crazy for the last month, he's 20lbs and he needs a new car seat because the one he has only goes up to 22lbs.

Who do you think Rugglebug looks more like Snowdrop or Dewdrop as a baby? Can you tell them apart?

While at the gym daycare this week Rugglebug I learned loved there Jumparoo, so guess what he got last night and adores?

I finished his baby book the other day. Know it’s supposed to last the first year but I think I went picture crazy =)

I feel bad about the girls baby books, they were they first things I ever made scrap-booking and well let’s just say it shows. I need to start a family book starting at age 3 till now. I plan to start that tomorrow.

On another note I need to start really training for all the fall marathons that are coming up. Skye wants me to do the Warrior Dash in Austin this fall. I also wanted to do the Muddy Buddy again , Pumpkin Run in October and the Cowtown in February. I am so out of shape running though. Yesterday I only managed to run a 13 min mile. Only one, I walked the other two. I’ve been a real bum and hopefully when the girls start school this fall I can get to the gym if not sooner.
